My Room

"Everyone carries a room about inside them. This fact can even be proved by means of the sense of hearing. If someone walks fast and one pricks up one's ears and listens, say at night, when everything round about is quiet, one hears, for instance, the rattling of a mirror not quite firmly fastened to the wall." -Franz Kafka

One Week

It's been one week since we left for Oxford, and we're adjusting very well. We're sleeping better, which greatly aids in our adjustment to a new culture and time zone. We still miss our friends and families, but we're not nearly as homesick as we were.

I've added hyperlinks to my previous posts and will continue to do so in future. Click on them to learn more about the colleges, historic sites, shops, and pubs I've mentioned in my posts.

Please e-mail us and leave comments. We really enjoy hearing from you.
